Student Highlights Photo

When Stacy first joined Matrix Academy, she was a quiet and shy student. Like many students starting in a new school environment, she needed time to adjust, feel comfortable, and find her voice.

Over time, Stacy became more confident, open, and engaged in school life. She built meaningful connections with her classmates and teachers and took pride in her academic work. One project she especially remembers is her Grade 11 English movie review project. Although that year was challenging for her, especially in English, Stacy worked hard and was proud of the effort and time she put into completing it successfully.

Reflecting on her experience at Matrix Academy, Stacy shared that the school gave her “a lot of useful knowledge and valuable experience” and helped her connect learning to real-world situations. She also appreciated the supportive environment, saying that the teachers were always ready to answer questions, explain difficult material, and help students feel welcome.

In addition to her academic achievements, Stacy was actively involved in meaningful extracurricular initiatives. She founded Teens4Solving, a virtual Model UN platform that brought together students from different countries to discuss global issues, human rights, and social problems. She also co-founded Sisterhood, a teen girls’ empowerment network in Central Asia, where she helped organize workshops and webinars focused on confidence, motivation, anti-discrimination, and personal growth. These activities reflect Stacy’s strong interest in diplomacy, leadership, and creating positive change in her community.
